Job Summary Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse in a healthcare facility specializing in high-risk obstetrics and culturally diverse populations. This position involves providing care to mothers and newborns, circulating during cesarean sections, and supporting high-risk deliveries with a focus on maternal and neonatal health.
Education Requirements: Valid state license (compact license accepted)
Location: within 50 miles of the facility
Years of Experience: at least 1 year
Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Relevant certifications, valid license, at least 1 year of obstetric nursing experience
Additional Information: Travel experience required; travelers are the first to float within their scope to meet facility needs; must have experience with high-risk OB, cesarean section circulation, and maternal/newborn care
References: Two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years, including charge RN or lead references.
