The role supports maternal assistance during active labor, delivery, and postpartum care, adhering to clinical guidelines and patient safety protocols.
Job Details
Required Certifications: Fetal monitoring, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Education requirements: Current State License; 2+ years of recent acute experience in labor and delivery
Specialty: Labor and Delivery (L&D)
Location: Southeastern Washington, serving Tri-Cities Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland
Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Additional information: Volume is 110 deliveries per month, with a mix of labor, postpartum, and triage beds. Knowledge in mother/baby care, triage, and OR circulation preferred but not required. Flexibility and good communication skills are essential.
Candidate must have at least 2 years of recent acute experience in labor and delivery and be willing to float to Mother/Baby units as needed.
