Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position in San Leandro, California. This role supports the labor and delivery department with a focus on high-risk obstetric patient care. The nurse will provide patient-centered care during night shifts, ensuring safety and compliance with medical protocols.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- 1-year recent (within the last three years) full-time equivalent experience in labor and delivery
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state where care is provided
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in nursing or related field
- Five or more years of recent labor and delivery experience (must have occurred within the last two years)
- One year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two years
- High Risk OB experience preferred
- Additional Information:
- Position is based at a facility requiring adherence to specific clinical protocols and SOPs.
- The role involves supporting high-risk obstetric patients with a focus on safety and rapid response.
