Job Summary A labor and delivery (L&D) nurse position is available in the department. The role involves providing professional nursing direct patient care for neonatal, obstetric, and postpartum patients, ensuring compliance with professional practice standards. The position requires collaboration within an interdisciplinary team to support patient safety and quality care.
Job Details
Location: Department of the healthcare provider
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP; Washington temporary/permanent license in hand or license application submitted; 2 years of experience in labor and delivery; experience with obstetric and neonatal patient care, including procedures such as vaginal delivery, C-section, neonatal resuscitation, and use of Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM).
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Level I Nursery, EPIC electronic medical record system, and familiarity with labor and delivery procedures.
Additional Information: All floating from Labor and Delivery is as helping hands, sitter/camera watching, or CNA type work, with float rotation possibly required. Candidates must have proof of Washington state license application if applicable.
Submission Requirements: Fully vaccinated, Epic experience, and references from the past 2 years, at least one from a supervisor.
