Job Summary: Labor and Delivery (L&D) specialty nurse position available in a healthcare facility setting. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to obstetric patients, including monitoring fetal well-being, assisting during labor and delivery, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. The position requires adherence to established clinical protocols and collaboration with the healthcare team to deliver quality maternal care.
Job Details:
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours guaranteed per week.
Required Qualifications: Certification(s) in labor and delivery nursing, valid nursing license, minimum of 0 years of experience in labor and delivery, ability to work nights scheduled shifts, and current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM), neonatal resuscitation (NRP), and prior experience in obstetric units.
Additional Information: The role involves delivering direct patient care in obstetrics, assisting with labor and delivery procedures, and ensuring compliance with clinical SOPs. Flexibility in shift hours and availability for the duration of the assignment are important.
