Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse specializing in the Labor And Delivery Department in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The qualified candidate will provide specialized nursing care for mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages. The position requires adherence to high standards of clinical excellence within a facility recognized for maternal care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
- Two years of recent Labor and Delivery (L&D) experience
- Certifications: American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification in hand at profile upload
- Work History Skills Checklist relevant to Labor and Delivery, current within one year
- Supervised clinical experience from within the past two years with signed reference
- Must include perm address with profile upload
- Must have own vehicle for the assignment
- All requested time off during assignment must be noted and verified at upload; requests after offer will not be approved
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Meditech Expanse experience is strongly preferred
- Additional Information:
- The candidate must include their Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) with their profile, as mandated by the state of Massachusetts
- Residency within 50 miles of the facility will disqualify consideration
- Requested scheduling details must be made at the time of submission; scheduling requests after offer or at interview will not be approved
