Job Summary:
A registered nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) and Antepartum Care (ACU) deployments, available in a float pool setting on nights. This position involves floating between Labor & Delivery and Antenatal Care units, providing critical care and patient support. The assignment spans from November 2, 2026, to January 2, 2027, with a schedule of 8-hour night shifts, totaling 32 hours per week, including every weekend.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 8-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active registered nurse (RN) license (or compact, if applicable to Rhode Island), BLS certification (American Heart Association), NRP certification, fetal monitoring certification (required for Labor & Delivery), minimum of 2 years recent Labor and Delivery, Antepartum, or High-Risk Obstetrics experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Float pool/multi-unit adaptability.
• Additional Information:
  • Candidates must have active certifications as listed above.
  • Clinical experience in labor, antepartum, or high-risk obstetrics is required.
  • The assignment requires working every weekend, with no exceptions.
  • Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations are mandatory with no exemptions.
  • Epic electronic medical record system (EMR) experience is required.
  • Shifts are predominantly night hours, with the possibility of flexible coverage.
