Job Summary Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) Located in Oregon. This position involves providing specialized care within the Labor and Delivery Department, supporting the hospital's OB services across multiple facilities. The role requires adaptability to various settings and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
Job Details
Position Description: The labor and delivery nurse supports staffing across multiple healthcare facilities, with a focus on labor management, delivery care, fetal monitoring, and postpartum care of mother and newborn. Flexibility to float between hospitals is essential.
Required Qualifications: Current unencumbered Oregon RN license; healthcare provider-level BLS; American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications.
Preferred Qualifications: Fetal Monitoring Certification and STABLE Certification.
Certifications: Must possess the listed required certifications at submission.
Education Requirements: Verification of high school diploma or equivalent due to College of American Pathologists (CAP) requirements for moderate complexity testing.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years labor experience including labor management, delivery care, fetal monitoring, postpartum care for mother and newborn.
Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: The candidate must be proficient in Epic electronic medical record system and capable of traveling using personal automobile. No excessive requested time off will be approved. Please include interview availability details during submission.
