Job Summary: The organization is seeking a Labor and Delivery (L&D) registered nurse for a night shift position at a women's hospital located in Arlington, Texas. This role involves providing high-risk obstetric and neonatal care, including procedures such as magnesium and insulin drips, with a focus on safety and patient-centered care. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with experienced staff and modern equipment, ideal for candidates with high-risk obstetric experience.
Job Details:
Position: Labor And Delivery Department Nurse
Shift Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
Start Date: 08/31/2026
Location: Arlington, Texas
Required Qualifications:
Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP (must be current and in submission packet)
1 year of travel experience in high-risk obstetric labor and delivery units
Experience with intermediate fetal monitoring, high-risk obstetric procedures, and high volume/high risk patient care
Ability to circulate and scrub in the operating room
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in obstetric emergency department settings
High-risk obstetric care experience, including magnesium and insulin drips, and neonatal procedures
Additional Information:
No RTO requests or special scheduling preferences permitted
Candidates must be team players, adaptable, and able to handle a fast-paced unit with a highly experienced staff team
Facility uses EMR systems for patient documentation and care management
