Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position involves working in a dynamic environment that supports expectant mothers and their families through the labor and delivery process.

Shift Details

  • Days: 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM
  • Schedule: 5 days on/2 days off, alternating weeks (2 on, 2 off, 5 on, 5 off)
  • Orientation week included in the initial schedule

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring patients
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions during labor and delivery
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Utilize OBIX and MedHost EMR for documentation and patient management
  • Support and educate patients and their families throughout the delivery experience

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana or multi-state license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from AHA
  • AWHONN certification is required

Location

Bastrop, LA - a smaller town with ample housing options available nearby in Monroe.
