Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 2+ years of high-volume L&D experience and prior travel assignment history.

Details

• Mother Baby unit setting handling high-volume Labor & Delivery cases
• 12-hour day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekend schedule to be determined by the facility
• On-call schedule to be determined by the facility
• 36 hours guaranteed per week

Requirements

• Active RN license (MD or Compact)
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, and NIHSS
• Must be willing to obtain EFM certification within 48 hours of offer if not already held
• Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification within 48 hours of offer if not already held
• 2+ years of recent high-volume Labor & Delivery experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• COVID-19 vaccination required with state-recorded proof; declinations not accepted
• Must be willing to work the facility's schedule without restrictions
• Supervisory references from the last 6 and 12 months required
• Skills checklist specific to Labor & Delivery required
• Current RN license verification (Nursys) required, less than 30 days old

• Accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self and those under direction
• Utilize specialized knowledge and clinical judgment to provide age-appropriate patient care
• Located on a suburban campus at a 257-licensed-bed acute and sub-acute care facility handling over 23,000 admissions and 52,000 ER visits annually
• Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction
• Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) may be considered
• First-time travelers considered as long as previous travel experience requirement is met
