**Join Our Dynamic Labor and Delivery Team!** **Job Description:** - **Unit Overview:** - Level 4 designated maternal center specializing in the most complex cases at any gestation - 22 beds with 16 specifically for labor - Approximately 100 dedicated staff members, including RNs and support staff - **Shifts:** - Seasonal contract for 13 weeks - Day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM - 4 weekend shifts per schedule - No on-call requirements - **Staffing:** - Day Shift: - 1 Charge Nurse - Minimum of 2 Surgical Techs - 1 Unit Clerk - Typically 10 staff during the week and 7 during weekends - Night Shift: - 1 Charge Nurse - Minimum of 2 Surgical Techs - 1 Unit Clerk - Typically 9 staff during the week and 7 during weekends - **Patient Ratios:** - 1:2 and 1:1 ratios for optimal patient care - **Equipment and EMR:** - Utilize CPN and Meditech systems - **Hiring Profile:** - **Must have:** - Experience with high-risk maternal patients - Skills in circulating operating room and triage - **Preferred:** - Greater than 5 years of experience - **Common Procedures:** - Vaginal and Cesarean section deliveries - Tubal ligations, cerclage placement and removal, D&C - C-hyst, PASD cases - **Ideal Candidate:** - Multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment - Team-oriented with a strong collaborative spirit - **Dress Code:** - Scrub color: Navy blue - Adhere to unit guidelines and policies - **Recognition & Awards:** - Named America’s Best Maternity Hospital 2023 by Newsweek - Leap Frog Grade A – only hospital in Texas to maintain straight A’s - Level 4 Maternal Designation – the highest level of care in Texas - **Additional Information:** - Tenured unit with long-term leadership that actively supports the team - Management is hands-on and can provide direct patient care as needed - Undergoing renovations to modernize all rooms **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
