Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Experience in an LDRP setting with high birth volumes preferred
• Active RN license or current RN certification/credential required
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• AWHONN fetal monitoring certification required
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and participate in the weekend and call rotation

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns
• Support vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and antepartum patient care
• Monitor labor progression and respond appropriately to changes in maternal or fetal status
• Deliver newborn and postpartum care in alignment with unit standards
• Collaborate closely with labor nurses, nursery staff, OB techs, and leadership to ensure smooth unit operations
• Use fetal monitoring equipment and maintain accurate documentation in the EMR
• Help promote a positive, family-centered experience for patients and their support teams
