Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN with a minimum of 2 years experience and a CA RN license for a 13-week travel assignment.

Details

• Work in the Labor and Delivery unit within the Birthplace
• Provide care to mothers and newborns during antepartum and postpartum periods
• Day shift schedule from 07:00-19:30
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Direct and guide patient and family teaching activities
• Guide and oversee activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining unit standards of care
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response
• Maintain a safe environment for patients and visitors
• Utilize chain of command as needed to ensure patient well-being
