Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Des Moines, Iowa.

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Experience in Labor Delivery [required]
• Experience in Post Partum / mother-baby care [preferred]
• current/recent high risk OB experience in level I trauma facility [highly preferred]
• current/recent high risk OB experience in level II trauma facility [required]
• Antepartum, C-section/vaginal delivery experience [required]
• No 1st time travelers, must have completed at least one travel assignment in previous 12 mos [required]
• Intermediate or Advance EFM / AWHONN certificate is accepted [required]
• EPIC emr experience [required]
• Work history/resume/employment history must have recent/current Labor Delivery experience [required]
• Skills Checklist must be specific to the discipline listed on the job (Labor Delivery) [required]
• Nursy s must state Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate at time of submission [required]
• Professional Reference/Reference Check - charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference from within 24 months of today's date [preferred]
• AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS - basic life support [required]
• AHA/American Heart Association- ACLS certificate - advance cardiac life support [required]
• NRP certificate [required]
• AWHONN certificate [document] [required]

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

• Patient Ratios: 1:1-2
• Patient Types: High Risk ob, antepartum, c-sections, vaginal deliveries
• Drips: magnesium, insulin, pitocin
• Deliveries/month: 150 @ Methodist, 300-350 at Iowa Methodist
• Traveler will be required to float across all campuses; Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran Iowa Methodist
