Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring at least 2 years of L&D experience and a CA RN license.

Details

• Work in the Labor and Delivery unit within the Birthplace
• Care for mothers and newborns during antepartum and postpartum periods
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring certification required
• DCI/BVP certification required
• Primary source verification of license and/or certification required within 30 days of start

Additional Information

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Direct and guide patient and family education as well as other nursing personnel
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response
• Maintain a safe environment for patients and visitors
