Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN with a CA RN license for a 13-week travel assignment supporting antepartum and postpartum care.

Details

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit (the Birthplace) of a hospital setting
• Provides direct patient care to mothers and newborns during antepartum and postpartum periods
• Day shift schedule from 07:00-19:30
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring certification required
• DCI/BVP certification required
• Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care using the nursing process
• Guide and direct patient/family teaching and the activities of other nursing personnel
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response
• Maintain a safe environment for patients and visitors
• Utilize chain of command as needed to ensure patient safety and appropriate care
• Accepts local candidates at the same pay rate as travelers
