Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring a CO or compact RN license and 1 year of specialty experience.

Details

• Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts scheduled 1900-0730
• 3 shifts per week totaling 36 hours weekly
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic EMR for charting

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO state or compact) required, no pending license accepted
• Current BLS certification through American Heart Association required, must not expire prior to start
• NRP certification required; ACLS/PALS as appropriate for unit or service
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery specialty required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing practice standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care while monitoring patient health status
• Provide patient education, counseling, and supportive/restorative therapy
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• RTO requests will be approved within reason
• Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment
