Are you an experienced Labor & Delivery RN looking for your next travel assignment in Montana? This opportunity offers the chance to work primarily in Labor & Delivery/Obstetrics, supporting patients and families through one of the most important moments of their lives.

The ideal traveler will bring strong L&D experience, sound clinical judgment, and the flexibility to float to Med-Surg when the OB department is closed.

What You'll Do

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care throughout the labor and delivery process.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and recognize changes requiring intervention.
• Manage labor progression and assist with vaginal and operative deliveries.
• Interpret fetal monitoring strips and respond appropriately to obstetric emergencies.
• Perform cervical examinations within scope of practice.
• Administer medications and provide comprehensive patient care.
• Prepare patients for operative deliveries and procedures.
• Provide postpartum education and support to patients and families.
• Collaborate closely with providers and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Help promote a positive birth experience and optimal outcomes for mothers and newborns.
• Float to the Med-Surg unit when OB is closed, as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of RN experience
• Recent Labor & Delivery experience required
• Med-Surg experience or the ability to safely float to Med-Surg is required.
• Active Montana RN license required at time of submission
• BLS required
• NRP required
• Stable/strong recent work history preferred
• Strong communication, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills
