Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery/Med Surg position requiring 3+ years of L&D experience and the ability to float to Med Surg.

Details

• Primarily works as an OB RN in Labor & Delivery with required floating to the Med Surg floor when OB is closed
• Day shift schedule with (3) 12-hour shifts per week
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active Montana RN license or compact license required
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, and STABLE
• Experience in Labor & Delivery required
• Med Surg floating capability required

Additional Information

• Monitors maternal and fetal well-being and manages labor progression
• Assists with deliveries and responds to obstetric emergencies
• Administers medications and interprets fetal monitoring strips
• Performs cervical exams within scope of practice
• Prepares patients for operative deliveries
• Provides postpartum education and emotional support to patients and families
