Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring fetal monitoring skills and current AWHONN and NRP certifications.

Details

  • Work in an 8-bed Obstetrics/Labor & Delivery unit within a Critical Access Hospital
  • Patient ratios of 1:1 for active labor and 1:2/3 for mother-baby care
  • Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week
  • Every other weekend (EOW) required
  • No on-call requirements

Requirements

  • Active RN license (NH or Compact)
  • Current certifications: BLS (AHA), AWHONN, and NRP
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery/OB experience required
  • Fetal monitoring experience required
  • STABLE certification highly preferred
  • Previous travel experience highly preferred
  • Labor & Delivery skills checklist completed within the past year required
  • One supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment required

Additional Information

  • Provide individualized nursing care supporting a range of birthing options from natural childbirth to full epidural anesthesia
  • Work within a supportive team environment focused on personalized patient care
  • RTO requests should be limited to 5 days or fewer
