Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Experience supporting labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care
• Ability to work rotating day and night 12-hour shifts
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient education skills
• Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check required
• Reliable transportation is essential, as public transportation is limited in the area

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients throughout the labor and delivery process
• Monitor vital signs and assess maternal and fetal well-being
• Assist with clinical procedures and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Offer education and guidance related to childbirth, postpartum recovery, and lactation support
• Deliver emotional support and reassurance to patients and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and promote safe, effective patient care
