Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift assignment requiring high-risk, circulating, and high-volume delivery center experience.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• High-risk and high-acuity obstetric patient population
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week
• Weekend requirement of every third weekend
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active IA or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• AWHONN certification for fetal monitoring required
• NRP certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• High-risk experience required
• Circulating experience required
• High acuity experience required
• Experience within the past year at a high-volume delivery center performing 200-300 deliveries per month required
• EPIC STORK experience preferred
• Multiple completed travel contracts preferred
• Driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Contribute professional and clinical expertise as part of an interdisciplinary care team managing patient care
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Prior UnityPoint Health employees who worked in another market within the past 12 months are not eligible for this travel assignment
• Holiday coverage is required for 2 of the 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
• Limited time-off requests permitted during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday periods
• First-time travelers may be considered if all experience requirements are met
