Description

American Traveler is seeking a Labor & Delivery RN for an all-in-one L&D unit requiring proficiency across delivery, postpartum, and newborn care with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Details

• All-in-one Labor & Delivery unit within a Pregnancy and Birth department
• Care provided across all L&D specialties including delivery, mother/baby, postpartum, nursery, and newborn resuscitation
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM, 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Block scheduling not available for this position
• Epic EMR used

Requirements

• Active NH RN license or Compact license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Current NRP certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Postpartum and Mother/Baby care experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• AWHONN certification within the past 3 years preferred
• Must have personal vehicle

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care across the lifespan from infancy through adulthood in accordance with nursing standards of care and practice
• Midwife-led team approach emphasizing low-intervention, natural birth support and empowerment
• Must work two full holiday blocks: Thanksgiving Day through the following weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the following weekend
• Time off requests limited to a maximum of 5 days and must be submitted prior to consideration; requests made after offer or during interview will not be approved
