Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift Float Pool position requiring EPIC experience and availability to work holidays.

Details

• Float Pool unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM, with 36 or 48-hour weekly options
• EPIC experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from an approved vendor required
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty required, 3 years for ER, ICU, Cath Lab, or OR
• BSN and acute care facility experience preferred
• No prior adverse action on license permitted

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses, develop care plans, and evaluate outcomes
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to support a safe and healing environment
• Participate in discharge planning and provide patient/family education
• Holiday coverage required; RTO requests for holidays will not be approved
• Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted for consideration
• Accepts local candidates with no radius restriction; local pay rates match travel rates
