Number of Beds : 9 L&D, 3 swing rooms, 2 ORs & 3 bed OBED
- Patient Ratios : 1-2
- Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Unit Secretary and scrub tech, dedicated CRNA & midwife in-house 24/7, OBGYN on call
- Type of equipment :
- Documentation system: CPN and Meditech
- Scheduling requirements: 4 weekend shifts/month
- Floating policy: can float to m/b or outside department to task
- Patient Experience requirements: Remain above 75%
- Certifications: RN, ACLS, BLS, NRP. Fetal monitoring
Advanced skills needed: Spinning babies helpful, STABLE also helpful
Procedures performed on unit: circulating in OR, IUPC, FSE, MgSO4, pp hemorrhage- JADA system, nitrous oxide
