Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery/Postpartum (LDRP) position requiring at least 1 year of experience and the ability to work L&D, triage, postpartum, and c-section circulating duties.

Details

• LDRP unit with 8 labor beds, 12 postpartum rooms, and 4 special care nursery beds
• Level 2 OB and Level 2 nursery designation
• Triage conducted out of labor beds
• Day shift schedule from 07:00-19:30
• 13-week assignment length
• Must be able to work L&D, triage, postpartum, and circulate for c-sections in the OB OR

Requirements

• Active IN RN license or compact license required
• Minimum 1 year of LDRP experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Current ACLS certification (AHA) required
• NRP certification (AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics) required
• Fetal monitoring competency required, via facility exam or AWHONN/Relias or equivalent program within past 2 years
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must provide a US Social Security Number and US home address

Additional Information

• Circulate in c-section deliveries as part of OB OR nursing duties
• Provide care across labor and delivery, triage, and postpartum settings
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility
• Candidates should discuss assignment extension with their manager approximately 45 days before the end date
• COVID vaccination is not required for this assignment
