Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Additional certifications such as CLC and STABLE preferred
• Strong OB background with confidence in triage, labor, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday coverage as scheduled
• Flexibility to float and assist with unit needs when census is low

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care across labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn services
• Perform OB triage, including assessment of obstetrical patients
• Support labor management, sterile vaginal exams, and fetal monitoring
• Assist with C-section circulation and other unit-based OB procedures
• Deliver safe, compassionate care to neonates, infants, and postpartum patients
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes
• Float within the OB unit and assist with phones, IV starts, and skill-based support when census is low
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow all unit protocols
• Participate in holiday and weekend rotations as assigned
• Contribute to a flexible, supportive environment focused on high-quality maternal and newborn care
