GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Portland, Oregon.
Join our team as an LDRP Registered Nurse in the Mother Baby specialty, where you will provide exceptional care in a leading healthcare setting. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic Perinatal Float Pool, supporting comprehensive care from labor and birth through postpartum recovery.
As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing intrapartum, antepartum, and newborn care to both low- and at-risk populations. You will float between the Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby Units as needed, potentially every 4 hours.
Department Overview: The Perinatal Newborn Float Pool supports Women's Services by delivering high-quality care in a well-equipped environment. Nurses work in both the Labor & Delivery Unit, which includes 12 labor rooms, a 4-bed triage area, 3 operating rooms, and a 2-bay PACU, and the Mother Baby Unit, which has 27 beds for low- and high-risk patients. We prefer candidates with L&D and postpartum skillsets, as well as the ability to float to the Mother Baby Unit.
This high-risk labor and delivery unit also accommodates high-risk antepartum cases and features a 4-bay triage unit that sees patients from 20 weeks gestation and postpartum within 6 weeks. The unit is equipped with 3 operating rooms and a 2-bay PACU.
