Job Summary:
The House Supervisor Level 1 at a healthcare organization is responsible for overseeing operational and clinical functions during the night shift at a facility serving a diverse patient population. This role involves managing a scattered bed unit that accommodates swing bed, detox, and medical patients, ensuring quality patient care and compliance with regulatory standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 11.5 hours per shift, minimum of 34.5 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: 1 year of experience in a house supervisor or RN manager role; NY state license in hand; certifications in BLS, PALS, and ACLS; experience with inpatient acute care, code management, crisis intervention/management, facility/bed diversion, rapid response team, discharge processes, post-surgery and post-procedures, transfer to higher level of care, infection control, isolation procedures, and regulatory requirements including DPH, TJC, OSHA.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in community hospital settings.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: This role involves supervising nursing care across all units, with support from interdisciplinary services such as physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary. Candidates must be within 75 miles of the facility and possess prior experience with EPIC charting system.
