Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Cardiovascular Technologist Level II for a travel job in Peoria, Illinois.

Job Summary:
Assist cardiologists in performing invasive and diagnostic/interventional cardiac, vascular, and electrophysiologic procedures.
Provide technical hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation using automated techniques.
Ensure patient care, safety, and satisfaction during procedures.
Collaborate with team members, physicians, and research staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate electrical/imaging equipment and computers.
Interpret hemodynamic and procedural results.
Operate monophasic and biphasic defibrillators.
Educate and communicate effectively with patients to alleviate anxiety.
Assist with anesthesia needs for sedated or anesthetized patients.
Maintain aseptic technique and prepare sterile fields.
Monitor and report equipment performance and ensure safety compliance.
Interpret EKGs and alert physicians to irregular activity.
Manage digital archiving systems for patient images and reports.
Train and mentor team members as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of applicable experience.
Knowledge of hemodynamic concepts, cardiac anatomy, and physiology.
Proficiency in moderate sedation administration and policy protocol.
Advanced EKG interpretation and arrhythmia recognition skills.
Competency in sterile table setup and patient preparation for procedures.
Basic computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, email, web browsing).
Fluency in English with multicultural sensitivity.
Required Education:
Associate's Degree in a related field or Certificate of Completion for a Radiology Program.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
IEMA License in Radiologic Technology (Illinois).
BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association).
ARRT Registration in Radiology.
