Job Title: Level II Interventional Radiology Technologist

Job Summary:
The Registered Radiologic Technologist is a professional caregiver responsible for providing care to patients in the Heart & Vascular Institute. This role involves assisting physicians in invasive cardiology or radiology procedures, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality, and performing essential functions of radiologic technology.

Required Qualifications:
 

  • Associate's Degree in Related Field or Certificate in Radiologic Technology.
  • BLS (American Heart Association).
  • ACLS (American Heart Association).
  • IEMA Radiography License Illinois.
  • Radiography (R)(ARRT).


Preferred Qualifications:
 

  • Previous Radiologic Technology experience in a procedural setting.
  • Experience with Interventional Neurology.

  • Capacity to learn and retain information regarding patient care and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, follow directions, and complete detailed work accurately.
  • Demonstrates compassion and caring in dealing with others.
  • Manual dexterity to handle small supplies.
  • Able to work around and maintain a sterile field during procedures.
  • Can pull supplies for procedures.
