• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
• On-Call: Possible evening and weekend call

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform routine and advanced nuclear medicine diagnostic procedures in a hospital setting. The technologist will safely prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, acquire high-quality diagnostic images, ensure radiation safety compliance, and collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely.
• Operate gamma cameras and nuclear imaging equipment.
• Position patients and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Monitor patients during imaging procedures for safety and comfort.
• Process and review images prior to physician interpretation.

• Follow radiation safety and ALARA guidelines.

   

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Nuclear Medicine Technologist License/Registration
• ARRT (N) or CNMT Certification (or board eligible)
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Hospital nuclear medicine experience preferred
• Ability to participate in evening and weekend on-call rotation
