Job Title: Social Work Clinical Educator Profession: Social Work Specialty: Social Work Clinical Educator Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Days, Monday - Thursday Hours per Shift: 9 hours Experience: 5-10 years License: Required Certifications: MA LICSW, must have at time of submission Must-Have: - Medical Social Work experience - Experience in psychosocial assessments - Experience in social determinants of health (SDOH) evaluation - Experience in abuse/neglect assessments - Experience in discharge planning - Experience in care coordination - Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration - Experience providing clinical supervision, staff support/coaching, and documentation review - Acute care experience required Description: Coordinate onboarding and competency development for new social work staff. Provide individual and group education on documentation standards, assessments, interventions, family engagement, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Conduct chart audits and provide documentation feedback. Support quality improvement initiatives. Provide clinical supervision, coaching, mentoring, and consultation to LCSWs and social work staff. Assess staff development needs and develop training resources to support clinical excellence. Serve as a subject matter expert to support implementation of practice changes, new programs, and departmental initiatives. Partner with leadership to promote consistent standards of practice, improve outcomes, and support staff growth.
