Experience in conducting crisis risk assessments for adults and pediatrics. Client experience preferred. Description: This position requires a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. The role involves floating between units and working in an Emergency Department setting. There will be an expectation of working every other weekend, including Saturdays and Sundays. The hours for shifts are from 16:00 to 02:00. The position involves conducting evaluations for patients who may be a danger to themselves or others. The social worker will provide crisis intervention and care coordination. Knowledge of cultural issues and experience with crisis intervention are essential. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care for patients suffering from mental health illness and substance use disorder. The candidate must possess strong skills in performing biopsychosocial assessments and initial evaluations. Providing support and education to patients and their families is a critical aspect of this role. This role does not require on-call duties, but may involve floating to nearby facilities if needed.
