Travel Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - $2,610 per week in Orange, CA

Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker Profession: Social Services Specialty: LCSW Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2 years of post-medical social work experience required License: Must be licensed in California Certifications: LCSW Must-Have: - Willingness to work weekends and evenings - Experience in an academic medical hospital within the last 1-5 years - Specialties should include Medicine Team, Surgery, Transplant, NICU, and ED Description: ICU and/or trauma experience accepted if no cardiology experience. Shifts will be 5x8, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with variable days including one weekend day per week. Experience in adult protective services, child protective services, emergency department social work, and mental health with complex medical and psychosocial histories is required. Familiarity with high-risk intervention, housing charities, Medicaid, Medicare, food stamps, medical transportation, and medication assistance is beneficial. Skills in conducting mini-mental state examinations, suicide/homicide/self-harm assessments, and substance abuse assessments are essential. Additional knowledge in oncology, heart disease, neurological disorders, and domestic violence is advantageous. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in managing assaultive behavior. All required certifications must be held prior to application. References from two supervisors are mandatory. Traveling for this position is a necessity. Candidates must have experience using EPIC charting systems. Return staff policy stipulates a minimum one-year absence before returning. Interviews may be conducted at the manager's discretion.
