Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) – Acute Care
Location: Carmichael, CA 95608
Pay: $3,132.00 per week (Based on 40 hours)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: August 18, 2026
Job Overview
We are Hirring an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a 13-week travel assignment in Carmichael, California. This is an excellent opportunity for a social worker with acute care hospital experience and prior Dignity Health experience to join a collaborative care coordination team.
Shift Details
- Shift: Varied 8-hour Day Shifts
- Schedule: 40 Guaranteed Hours per Week
- Every Other Weekend Required
Responsibilities
- Complete psychosocial assessments and discharge planning.
- Coordinate patient care with physicians, nurses, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Provide crisis intervention and emotional support to patients and families.
- Assist with care coordination, community resources, and post-discharge planning.
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR.
- Support patients experiencing behavioral health crises, including 5150 evaluations when appropriate.
Requirements
- Active California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license.
- Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital social work experience.
- Current BLS Certification.
