Position Summary The Inpatient Psychiatric Unit Therapist is a key member of a multidisciplinary care team providing clinical services in an acute adult inpatient behavioral health setting. This role focuses on stabilizing patients experiencing mental health crises through comprehensive therapeutic interventions, care coordination, and discharge planning. The Therapist delivers individual, group, and family therapy while addressing psychosocial needs to ensure a safe and effective transition back to the community. This position requires a fully licensed therapist in the state of Montana.   Key Responsibilities
  • Provide mental and behavioral healthcare support within the adult inpatient unit
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments, screenings, and brief interventions
  • Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed
  • Develop and contribute to interdisciplinary treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Monitor patient progress and response to treatment
  • Coordinate discharge planning and transitional care services
  • Collaborate with referral agencies to ensure continuity of care
  • Facilitate access to community resources (housing, vocational services, substance abuse programs, etc.)
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
