Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) / Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Location: Monroe Township & Newark, NJ Department: Mental Health Services Contract Length: 1 Week (Coverage Assignment) Shift: 8-Hour Days Local pay rate: $45 - $49/ hr on W2 Weekly Gross Pay: $2054 - $2174/ week (Includes taxable and non-taxable)
Job Summary: We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for a short-term behavioral health coverage assignment in New Jersey. The selected clinician will provide mental health services in a correctional and residential treatment setting, working 4 days in Monroe Township and 1 day in Newark.
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychosocial assessments and behavioral health evaluations.
Gather and analyze social and clinical information to determine client needs.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
Provide individual counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral health support.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical, psychiatric, and correctional staff.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Participate in treatment planning meetings and discharge planning as appropriate.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field.
Current and valid New Jersey LCSW or LPC license.
Minimum 1 year of experience in social case work or behavioral health counseling.
Experience developing and managing treatment plans.
Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
