Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate behavioral health therapy to patients in acute care
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop meaningful treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery
- Advocate for patients' needs and connect them to vital community resources
- Document care expertly in EPIC to ensure seamless continuity
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) License
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience in behavioral health or acute care settings preferred
Education
- Master's degree in Social Work or related field
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical social work expertise
- Proficiency in EPIC charting system
- Excellent crisis intervention and counseling skills
- Empathy and cultural competence in patient interactions
