Travel Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) - $2,446 per week in Vallejo, CA

Job Title: Social Services Practitioner Profession: Social Services Practitioner (MSW) Specialty: Social Services Practitioner (MSW) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 5 x 8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts. Experience: Preferred three years of experience in a social agency, hospital, or organization dealing with health and/or welfare. License: Preferred Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Certifications: Required Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or TEAM-A Must-Have: Effective problem-solving skills Description: Renders clinical psychosocial services to patients and their families of all ages. Assesses patients' psychosocial needs and makes referrals to appropriate facilities or community agencies. Provides crisis intervention and bereavement counseling. Utilizes effective problem-solving strategies to reach decisions, take appropriate action, and follow through within assigned scope of responsibility. Provides consultation and counseling with patients, families, staff, and others in service of patients. Participates in departmental and interdisciplinary meetings and activities. Obtains or coordinates resources from community, social, health, and welfare agencies. Provides training for nursing staff to intervene during on-call hours and weekends.
