Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a long-term care team. The ideal candidate will have prior LTC experience, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal orientation.
Candidates must be comfortable stepping into a fast-paced environment and providing high-quality resident care from day one.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care according to physician orders and individualized care plans.
Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions safely and accurately.
Monitor, assess, and document resident conditions and responses to treatment.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members.
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge planning.
Ensure compliance with infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards.
Promote resident comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
Support quality improvement and resident-centered care initiatives.
Requirements
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) license required.
Previous Long-Term Care (LTC) experience required.
PointClickCare (PCC) experience required.
Ability to work independently with minimal orientation.
Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Current BLS certification preferred.
