Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contract assignment in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting. The LPN will provide direct patient care, administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and support the healthcare team in delivering quality patient-centered care.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced care environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients and residents
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor and document patient conditions and progress
Assist with patient assessments and care planning
Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and interdisciplinary staff
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Ensure compliance with facility policies and healthcare regulations
Promote patient comfort, dignity, and safety
Requirements
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Alabama
Current CPR/BLS certification
Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred
