Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, following facility policies.
- Monitor vital signs, assess patient changes, and report findings promptly to the supervising nurse.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, mobility, and personal care.
- Document care provided and residents’ condition accurately in required health records.
- Collaborate with the health care team to develop and adjust care plans as needed.
- Adhere to infection control practices, safety protocols, and care standards to support a safe environment.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license to practice in New Mexico.
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts as part of a 3x12 schedule.
- Experience or demonstrated ability to care for adults in a long-term care setting.
- Strong communication and documentation skills; comfort working under RN supervision.
- Willingness to comply with facility policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Must be eligible to participate in a travel assignment and work in the United States.
