Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy
- Monitor resident conditions, document changes, and report to the supervising RN
- Provide core nursing care and assistance with activities of daily living for residents
- Collect specimens as directed and participate in routine assessments
- Maintain accurate charting and records; uphold infection control and safety standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to meet resident needs and respond to calls or changes in status
Requirements
- Active North Carolina LPN license
- 12 months of recent LPN experience
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7 pm–7 am)
- Capacity to work in a long-term care setting with residents requiring skilled care
- Graduate of an approved practical nursing program
- Orientation will occur during the first couple hours of the first shift; credentials due by 10/10/2026 or ASAP
- No additional certifications required beyond the NC LPN license
