Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care travel assignment in Lewiston, Maine. Start date 05/26/2026 for a 13-week contract. 3x12-hour day shifts in a hospital setting. Travel - temporary assignment. Weekly pay range: $1,670 to $1,759 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Notes: Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered. Local travelers will receive a $10/hour lower local rate. Previous employees not accepted. Up to 16 hours of orientation are unpaid. The assignment may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract. Candidate must reside outside of a 50-mile radius.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect nursing care to residents, collaborating with RNs and other care providers to create a safe, therapeutic environment.
- Administer medications and treatments per orders, monitor patient status, and report changes promptly.
- Support activities of daily living, mobility, and behavior management for residents, including those with Alzheimer’s/dementia on applicable units.
- Perform wound care, IV therapy when indicated, and geriatric assessment and management as part of the care plan.
- Document assessments, interventions, vital signs, and care plans; participate in rounds and interdisciplinary care planning.
- Adapt care delivery to unit needs (short-term rehab and long-term care) and be flexible to float to other units as needed.

Requirements
- License: Valid State of Maine LPN license or a valid compact LPN license
- Education: Education: Associates in Nursing or Graduate of Maine State Board approved LPN course
- Experience: 1–3 years of RN/LPN experience preferred
- Skills: Medical terminology preferred; strong teamwork and communication abilities
- Availability: Flexibility to cover a 24/7 schedule and float to other units as needed
- Geographic: Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius from the assignment location
