Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long Term Care. This travel temporary assignment is located in Washington, North Carolina. The start date is 10/10/2026 for an 8-week contract. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care setting, including monitoring and charting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; document in the resident records
- Observe resident status, report changes promptly to supervisors and physicians
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and routines, ensuring comfort and safety
- Maintain care plans, follow protocols for infection control and safety, and collaborate with the health care team
- Complete accurate nursing documentation and ensure regulatory compliance during shifts
Requirements
- Active North Carolina LPN license
- 12 months of recent LPN experience
- Education appropriate for licensure as an LPN (LPN diploma or equivalent)
- Ability to work night shifts in a long-term care setting
- Orientation provided at the start of the assignment
- Ability to comply with facility policies and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
