Health Room Assistant (requires LPN credentials) – Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a school health room setting serving students in a K-12 environment. Location: Lacey, Washington. Start date: 09/03/2026. Contract through 06/17/2027. Weekly pay: $1,389–$1,461 per week. Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:50 AM–4:20 PM. Travel - temporary assignment in a school setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to students in the school health room, triaging and addressing routine health concerns and injuries in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Administer medications and treatments per school policy and physician orders, ensuring accurate documentation and safe storage
- Assess student health needs, initiate appropriate interventions, and escalate to the school nurse or additional medical support when needed
- Maintain clear, concise charts and records of care provided, and communicate care plans with school staff while preserving student confidentiality
- Support overall health services operations, including stock management, infection control practices, and coordinating care with teachers and administrators
- Promote a safe and supportive health office environment and guide students toward appropriate follow-up care when indicated
Requirements
- Active Washington LPN license
- Ability to work in a school health room setting and manage care for a diverse student population
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, work independently, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Education: LPN degree or diploma from an approved program
