Job Overview
We are seeking a Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 16-week contract assignment. This role involves providing direct patient care, administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient conditions, and supporting residents in a collaborative healthcare environment.
The ideal candidate is dependable, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care while working effectively as part of an interdisciplinary nursing team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients during scheduled shifts
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes to the supervising Registered Nurse
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Support individualized care plan implementation
Assist with patient assessments and daily care needs
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Promote patient comfort, dignity, and quality of care
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
Job Requirements
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (State of Vermont or compact license where applicable)
Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
Current CPR/BLS certification required
Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
Must have reliable personal transportation
Ability to work every weekend as required
All requested time off (RTO) must be approved before contract finalization
No overtime available
Must provide valid state or federal-issued identification for facility access
COVID-19 vaccination compliance or approved exemption required
