Responsibilities
- Deliver school-based nursing care, including triage, first aid, and routine health supervision for students.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and district policies, documenting confidentiality and accuracy.
- Support students with chronic health conditions through individualized care plans and consistent coordination with school staff.
- Monitor student health screenings, manage health records, and communicate health events to families and relevant school personnel.
- Respond to medical emergencies in accordance with established protocols and notify appropriate administrators and caregivers.
- Maintain a safe, organized health office environment and uphold privacy standards in line with school policies.

Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in Vermont
- Ability to work effectively in a K-12 school setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with students, families, and school staff
- Competence in documenting care and health events using standard school health records
- Willingness to work day and evening shifts and adapt to school schedules
